致力于非常規(guī)油氣和常規(guī)油氣地質(zhì)綜合評(píng)價(jià)、無機(jī)-有機(jī)地球化學(xué)結(jié)合與古環(huán)境、古氣候重建。主持國家自然科學(xué)面上基金、國土資源行業(yè)專項(xiàng)、中石油創(chuàng)新基金、湖北省自然科學(xué)基金、湖北省教育廳重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目各1 項(xiàng),合作參與國家自然科學(xué)重點(diǎn)基金1項(xiàng)、國家自然科學(xué)面上基金2項(xiàng)和國家油氣專項(xiàng)2項(xiàng),主持中石油、中石化、中海油和中國地質(zhì)調(diào)查局委托科研項(xiàng)目60項(xiàng)以上,主編石油高等院校特色規(guī)劃教材1部(非常規(guī)油氣與可再生能源),參與編寫十三五高等院校石油天然氣類規(guī)劃教材1部(油氣地球化學(xué)),出版合作專著3部,在深層油氣的來源與演化、優(yōu)質(zhì)烴源巖形成與五古(古環(huán)境、古氣候、古水深、古鹽度、古生產(chǎn)力)重建、油氣成藏等領(lǐng)域取得重要進(jìn)展,在Fuel、Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering、Global and Planetary Change、Marine and Petroleum Geology、Petroleum Science等國內(nèi)外核心刊物發(fā)表論文120余篇,其中第1作者或通訊作者SCI論文16篇(第1作者SCI論文6篇)、EI收錄論文7篇,獲省部級(jí)科技一等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng)、三等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)。
